Annual Miami International Regatta, hosted by the Miami Rowing & Watersports Center, is one of the largest rowing regattas in Florida. Traditionally held in March, youth and adult athletes accompanied by many spectators spent the day at the Miami Marine Stadium watching races and enjoying family-friendly entertainment.

Miami International Regatta is a 1,500 meter race in the Marine Stadium Basin. Competitors include local teams (Belen, Miami Beach, Miami Rowing Club, Pine Crest) along with teams from throughout Florida, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Mexico, Argentina, Canada, France, Italy Guatemala, and more!
The Miami International Regatta has evolved in to the unofficial kickoff event for the Florida spring rowing season that provides a unique opportunity for visiting teams from colder climates to get some sunshine, water-time, and competitive racing.

The Regatta has also become an early spring celebration of the hard work, dedication, and courage of today’s young athletes. In fact , the regatta has recently featured some of the best high school rowers in the country as many of the medalist from last year’s regatta would go on to further success wining state, regional and national championships.
