The Miami Rowing Club’s adult or master rowers are a mix of many ages, skill and experience levels.
Many of our competitive rowers have experience at the collegiate level. If you rowed in college and want to get back on the water, then this is the place for you.

The Miami Rowing Club thinks coxswains walk, as well as row, on the water. In appreciation, coxswains that will commit to regular coxing in our master’s programs are exempt from membership fees. Please contact us through the contact form bellow to introduce yourself.
If you have any other comments or questions please contact us. If you are an experienced rower, please put “EXPERIENCED ROWER” at the top of your message.
The MRC master rowers are among the most accomplished and competitive men and women in the country. Our rowers have garnered gold medals at the National and World Championship level. Master rowers training for competition span the breadth of experience from former Olympians to recent novices in their first year of rowing.

Competitive: The masters rowers at MRC are a fun and diverse group that love to train hard. We welcome experienced, ex-collegiate and club rowers from other programs worldwide who are ready to jump right into some competitive rowing and racing. Come get on the water with us. If you are relocating to the Miami area, and have been training to race, this is perfect place to get with others of your experience.
Used to row and want to get back into shape: Get back into the swing of things with a refresher course, either with our Learn-to-Row group or in a private lesson. Once you are re-acclimated to a rowing shell, continue rowing with others that share your same rowing goals.
Novice and Recreational: For those of you who just like the pleasure of being out on the water and getting a little exercise, there is usually a group available for a more casual row. If you don’t want to train to compete but would like to become a better rower, we also offer coached classes to help improve your skills in the boat.
Hope to see you on the water!
