welcome to the miami rowing club
Four afternoons a week on Biscayne Bay changes a kid.
Rowing builds confidence, discipline, teamwork and friendships that extend far beyond the boat.

01/ — 2025–2026
The season, on paper
This is what a year of support buys. Not trophies for their own sake — entry fees, trailers, coaching hours and time on the water, turned into results. Every line below was paid for by someone who chose to fund it.
02/ — Milestone · July 2024
The first Miami crew to race at Henley
For the first time, two Miami crews raced at Henley Royal Regatta on the Thames — an event running since 1839. The MRC quad prequalified for the Fawley Cup on the strength of its season at home. That is the ceiling this programme can reach when it is funded.
The Blue Blazer Gala · Saturday, October 3, 2026
One night pays for the whole year.
We are determined to build a stronger future together by promoting a culture of solidarity and cooperation.
The Blue Blazer is the club's fundraiser — dinner, dancing, live and silent auction. It's where scholarships get funded, where boats get bought, and where the rowing families and the people who back them end up in the same room.

Honoring Luc’s Legacy
A scholarship born from his spirit
In the wake of Luc’s passing, the MRC community came together to create something lasting in his name — carrying forward the qualities that defined him, not just as a rower, but as a person. Each year two high school students are recognised whose lives reflect what Luc embodied: resilience on the water, kindness off it, and an unshakeable commitment to those around them.

Awarded to one student rower from MRC, covering tuition and equipment costs for a full rowing season. Recognises athletic growth, leadership and dedication to the program.
Awarded to one student who demonstrates Luc’s belief that excellence in the classroom and on the water are not separate pursuits — both expressions of the same character.
A living tribute, renewed each year so that Luc’s spirit continues to shape the lives of those who carry it forward.
