Luciano Mercenari 1995 – 2024A scholarship born
from his spirit
In the wake of Luc's passing, the MRWC community came together to create something lasting in his name. The Honoring Luc's Legacy Scholarship Program was established to carry forward the qualities that defined him — not just as a rower, but as a person.
Each year, one high school student is recognized whose life reflects what Luc embodied: resilience on the water, kindness off it, and an unshakeable commitment to those around them.
