Learn more about our membership program

Family include no more than two adults per household and their unmarried rowing children under the age of 21 (or currently enrolled in school up to age 23). This membership category allows the use of the Center and its facilities by the member’s spouse/partner and unmarried children under age 21 (or currently enrolled in school up to age 23). Family Members are allowed one vote per membership (i.e. household).

Individual Member

(27+)


A single person age 27 or older who has paid the appropriate initiation fee and annual dues. The Individual member has voting rights.

Individual Member

(under 27)


A single person from age 18 to 26 who has paid the appropriate initiation fee and annual dues. The Individual member has voting rights.

Summer Membership

A single person from age 18 to 26, including college students home for summer or YP rowers when the Youth Program is not active. The three-month term covers either June–August or July–September.

Come prepared with athletic gear, water shoes, tennis shoes, and a water bottle—staying hydrated is key! Join us for an exciting season of rowing, fitness, and fun!

Do you have to join right away? No. You can try out the club and meet some of our members before you join.

NOTES: Non-Resident Status: Family and Individual (27+) Members that move out of town (100+ miles from MRC) pay half the current monthly dues. Non-Resident Status is not available to the other membership classifications. Former MRC Youth Programs rowers who join the club will have initiation fees waived. What do I have to do to join? Please fill out the forms above and return, with payment, to the MRC mailing or email addresses shown or call 305-361-3225 for current club office hours.

Learn-to-Row Graduates: Your three weeks of classes will provide opportunities to get to know the club and some members.You may join at any time after “graduation” by the coach. Experienced Rowers Non-members are allowed 3 free rows in a 30-day period with an authorized MRC coach or experienced MRC member. (High School rowers have separate requirements. Please visit the Youth Program page) For any questions regarding Memberships or storage of your boat please contact us. Please put “MEMBERSHIP” or “BOAT STORAGE” at the top of your message.
